Dear Prospective Patient,

You have taken an important step on the road to more vibrant health just by exploring the possibility of acupuncture and Oriental medicine. You can expect to leave your treatment feeling relaxed, refreshed, and listened to. It is also my intention that you will feel empowered to take control of your own healing process and I will give you as many things to do on your own at home, as you like, so that you are not dependent on the treatments as your only means of feeling better.

Your first treatment will be about 2 hours long. That will entail a complete medical history, a thorough evaluation of your specific health concern at that time, an explanation of the acupuncture treatment, an answering of any questions that you many have, a tongue and pulse diagnosis, and then an acupuncture treatment in which you will relax anywhere from 15-30 minutes.

Your follow-up treatments will be 1-1.5 hours long and we will get into other treatment modalities at that time, based on your needs and interests. (Please see the Treatment Tab for more details).
